SALVAVIDASPR builds on its founder’s hands-on experience and commitment to aquatic safety.
2016
Where it started
The founder earned his first lifeguard certification while looking for a summer job. It became the beginning of years of hands-on aquatic safety experience.
Early years
One person, a growing vision
Long before it was formally established, SALVAVIDASPR already existed in name and spirit. Its founder provided lifeguard services at numerous pools throughout Puerto Rico, working birthday parties and a wide range of activities at hotels, communities and private residences. That hands-on experience, together with work at beaches, became the foundation for SALVAVIDASPR.
2021–2022
Expanding the experience
Two full summers at SeaWorld San Antonio through the UPRM × SeaWorld summer work program. Also experience at the UPRM Natatorium through Estudio y Trabajo and at Fraternidad Alpha Sigma Gamma in Gurabo, working a wide range of activities.
2023
A milestone in Culebra
An opportunity to work as a lifeguard at Flamenco Beach marked an important milestone and helped motivate the formalization of SALVAVIDASPR.
Today
Building on experience
Professional lifeguard services to help create safer aquatic environments throughout Puerto Rico.
SeaWorld San Antonio, the UPRM Natatorium and Fraternidad Alpha Sigma Gamma are references to the founder’s professional experience; they are not presented as SALVAVIDASPR clients or endorsements.
